1. How far in advance should we book our wedding DJ?
If you're getting married in 2025, you should aim to book your DJ at least 9-12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (spring and fall). Popular dates fill up quickly, and the best DJs get booked fast! If your wedding is sooner than that, don’t worry—I may still have availability.

2. How much does a wedding DJ cost in 2025?
At Me Psi Phi Entertainment, I believe in providing top-tier DJ and entertainment services at competitive rates, ensuring you get the best experience for your event. On average, couples can expect to pay anywhere from $1,200 to $3,000 for a professional wedding DJ.

3. Do you take song requests from guests?
Absolutely! I love keeping guests engaged by playing their favorite tunes. However, I always check with the couple first—some prefer to stick to their planned playlist. I also make sure requests fit the vibe of your wedding and avoid anything on your “Do Not Play” list.


To make things even easier, I use the RequestNow app, which allows guests to request songs by simply scanning a QR code sign or texting me their song requests at the reception. This keeps the process smooth and organized, so I can focus on mixing the perfect soundtrack for your night without being bombarded with requests at the booth. Plus, it ensures that all requests stay within the style and mood you want for your wedding
4. Can we customize our wedding playlist?


Of course! Your wedding should reflect your personality, and music plays a big role in that. I work closely with couples to curate a playlist that includes must-play songs, favorite genres, and special dance moments. Plus, I always mix in crowd-pleasers to keep the dance floor full.
To make the process even smoother, I use the Vibo App, a powerful tool that helps you organize your music selections and reception flow. I’ve set up your wedding timeline in Vibo, where you’ll find guided questions for each section to help you make decisions about your big day. Be sure to answer these as completely as possible—it ensures we create the perfect soundtrack for every moment!

7. Do you provide ceremony and cocktail hour music, too?
Yes! I offer full-service wedding DJ packages, including music for your ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Whether you need soft acoustic vibes for the ceremony or upbeat classics for the dance floor, I’ve got you covered.

8. How do you handle wedding announcements and MC duties?
As your DJ, I also act as an MC (Master of Ceremonies) to keep the night running smoothly. I make clear, professional announcements for key moments like introductions, toasts, cake cutting, and the first dance—all while keeping the energy fun and engaging.

10. How do we book you for our wedding?
1. Contact me via email or from the web form DDDixon.com about what your event needs are.
2. You will receive a response back from me where we can setup a consultation time where we can go over the details of you event and pricing.
3. After the consultation, a contract would be sent to you to fill out.
4. Once I received the signed contract and small deposit from you, I'll begin to work on the playlist and time line for your event.
5. A time line will be sent to you for your final approval.
6. Ten days before the day of the Event, the outstanding balance is to be paid to the DJ before any music is played.
7. Party and have a good time.
